During the festive season, Avenida Association transforms Avenida da Liberdade into a gift for the whole family

This Christmas, the meeting point is Avenida da Liberdade! The Christmas spirit will take over Lisbon’s most glamorous boulevard with magicians, characters on stilts, mimes and a Christmas Band spreading joy at Avenida Street Market.

With shop windows and the characteristic festive lights and decorations, in December the avenue is transformed into a special place where you’ll also find Avenida’s Street Market, now with 130 stalls. This is Lisbon’s most central market, with a wide range of products. Who can resist strolling through a market on the emblematic artistic Portuguese sidewalk, Lisbon’s cultural heritage, and discovering an original selection of antiques, traditional and contemporary handicrafts, food products and various typically Portuguese items?

The Avenida Association also invites you to enjoy the capital’s main avenue to the fullest: discover the premium stores to find the most exclusive gifts, the concerts and shows on stage, the dream hotels and the vast gastronomic offer, with several restaurants offering inviting group menus.
