In a true sensory journey, Local – Your Healthy Kitchen presents the new dishes for the autumn-winter menu. For those who love quality ingredients combined with creativity, this is the perfect opportunity to try new flavours, irresistible to both the palate and the eye. Continuing its mission to promote healthier eating habits, the focus on seasonality, nutritional value and the balanced combination of ingredients continues this season, with several proposals.
The new dishes and the return of some favourites promise to delight Local fans. The starters are an excellent start to meals and unique moments. The highlight here is the creamy Bisque with an unlikely combination of Prawns and Turbot, combined with the freshness of the Burrata & Pumpkin and the Bolhão Pato Mushrooms.
Also in the Fish / Poultry options, the new dishes combine healthy with tasty and with a big variety and combinations of ingredients, such as the Turbot with Pea and Mint Cevadotto and the Mediterranean Chicken with Red Rice, and the already famous Asian Duck.
For fans of vegetarian / plant-based meals, Local presents one of the stars of this new menu, which reflects the concern with the seasonality of the ingredients: the Mushroom Cevadotto, taking advantage of the season of its main ingredient with a variety of brown, shiitake and shimeiji mushrooms, combined with the nutritional characteristics of barley. This category also presents the delicious Grain Tagine and the aromatic Lentils and Roasted Vegetables with Harissa.
The Local‘s famous Pokes present two novelties with great freshness and creativity! The Maui, which combines Salmon, Tuna, Mango, Cucumber, Edamame, Macadamia, Mayo, Avocado, Sushi Rice and Classic Sauce and the Miso Salmon, with Salmon, Avocado, Roasted Sweet Potato, Shiitake Mushrooms, Edamame, Crispy Onion, Nori Strips, Portuguese Quinoa, Miso Sauce and Sesame. Both lactose-free.
The Local’s desserts, free from wheat, lactose and refined sugars, are always the perfect end to a meal and the new menu includes the creamy Chia, Blueberry and Acai Pudding and the Almond Tart, now in a more traditional version. Also returning, the favourite and delicious Lemon Tart, Blackberry Cheesecake and the refreshing Pineapple and Pomegranate.
Local’s juices are always the perfect complement to a meal and the new menu reflects the care taken with nutritional values and their benefit in a healthy life. Carrot Crush, with Carrot, Apple and Ginger, is ideal for those looking for healthy skin and eyes, as carrots are rich in beta-carotenes, essential for healthy skin and eyes. The Green Kick, with Apple, Spinach and Cucumber, perfect for those looking for a low-calorie, diuretic drink, with the cucumber helping to combat fluid retention. Pineapple Punch, with apple, pineapple, lime and ginger, is ideal for promoting immunity, combining the antioxidant properties of ginger with the vitamin C present in lime and pineapple.
