Portuguese creator Tony Miranda, a reference of the international Haute Couture, chose Avenida da Liberdade for the opening of his space, being one of the first entrepreneur to believe in the commercial potential of that location.
In 1997 he purchased the Pombalino architectural style building, with the numbers from 92 to 100 in this avenue.
Later on, he opened the Private Clients space, located on the 2nd and 3rd floors of the building that bears his name, with the purpose of providing national and foreign customers with the luxury and exclusivity of Haute Couture they are looking for. At the same time, he creates a DeLuxe “Pret-a-Porter” line, for man and woman.
With an expressive career and participation in fashion shows in Portugal and abroad, Madrid, Paris, Luanda, New York, Dubai among other cities, Tony Miranda has, throughout the years, dresses prominent celebrities from all over the world such as politicians, financial leaders, aristocrats, society people and artists. They included the Shah of Persia, Reza Pahlavi, Price Saud Al Faisal, Charles Aznavour, Jacques Brel, Brigitte Bardot, Sylvie Vartan, among many others.
