On June 28th, Generali Tranquilidade’s main social responsibility program, The Human Safety Net (THSN), was present at the Feira da Avenida, with a charity stand dedicated to raising donations for the “Family Day” project of SOS Children’s Villages.

With a clear and transformative mission, to unlock the potential of people in vulnerable situations, THSN has been creating a positive impact on communities around the world.

In Portugal, the program was launched in 2023 with a focus on supporting families and children in vulnerable contexts. In 2024 alone, the movement supported more than 800 people, including children, parents and caregivers.

Participation in the Feira da Avenida reinforces Generali Tranquilidade´s commitment to a fairer and more inclusive world. Through the charity stand, visitors were able to directly contribute to the “Family Day”, a special event that celebrates family ties with fun activities and moments of sharing for children and families supported by SOS Children’s Villages.
