Inspired by São Tomé and Príncipe, the collection places the island’s endemic birds at its heart, brought to life through hand-drawn illustrations by artist Blackson Afonso, Roselyn’s husband. His illustrations are transformed into prints across noble fabrics and fluid silks, creating a dialogue between art and fashion.
More than an artistic collaboration, this is a story of love. It is also a call for awareness: São Tome and Príncipe is home to one of the world’s most unique ecosystems, including birds species threatened with extinction that urgently need to be protected.
