SEEN Sky Bar at Tivoli Avenida Liberdade in Lisbon opens for Summer with new look and new concept
The rooftop bar SEEN Sky Bar at Hotel Tivoli Avenida Liberdade is opening this summer with a new concept and design. The rooftop bar with views over Lisbon to the sea beyond will also be open for lunch for the first time with a new lunchtime menu.
An Urban Oasis
The SEEN Sky Bar is designed to be an urban oasis for warm lunches throughout the summer season. Under the works of Deckora Design, an interior architecture and decoration studio owned by Camilla Degli Esposti, the SEEN Sky Bar redesign invites guests into a haven of greenery inspired by the emerald tone palette, already key in SEEN’s current decor. The jungle-inspired design mixes shades of green with orange, creating a harmonious interaction between warm and cold tones. The space has been designed to be as flexible as possible, whether it’s a party under the stars or a relaxed lunch surrounded by foliage.
The sofas and bench cushions are made by local artisans and all tables are made with natural Portuguese green and grey stone. From the shade umbrellas adorned with natural patterns, to the elegant French chairs, each element has been meticulously selected to evoke a sense of tranquillity and sophistication.
Lunch with a Panoramic View over Lisbon
For the first time SEEN Sky Bar will be open for lunch, with a new menu designed by chefpreneur Olivier da Costa, offering a food sharing concept. Together with Felipe Hitoshi, Head Sushi Chef, with more than 10 years of sushi experience, Hugo Feijão, Head bartender and Marta Chaves, General Manager, complete the winner team at SEEN Sky Bar.
The new lunch menu at SEEN Sky Bar includes some of Chef Olivier’s unmissable favourites, such as Truffled Linguini, SEEN Taco (the most requested dish), Sliced Wagyu and Sushi. New dishes include Steak Tartare Pomodoro, coming directly from SEEN Roma, made with beef, tomato, truffle and stracciatella, and a new Salads menu, where the new Niçoise Salad stands out, in a perfect combination of lettuce, potatoes, braised tuna, anchovies, Kalamata olives, tomatoes, Filet beans, boiled egg and croutons, and the Burrata Salad, where the extremely creamy and smooth texture of the cheese merges with seasonal tomatoes, basil olive oil, figs and pine nuts.
The new menu also features a new tuna sandwich on brioche bread, with mayonnaise, boiled egg, mustard and kizami wasabi, and the SEEN Club, with breaded chicken, caramelized bacon, chilled egg, tartar sauce, scamorza cheese, lettuce and tomato. The Fish Market brings a new monkfish kebab, with shrimp, chorizo, onion and pepper.
For desserts there are the fresh and exotic flavours of SEEN Passion, with passion fruit textures and a chocolate sphere with ice cream inside, to cool off on hot days, and the Cookie à la Minute, directly from SEEN Nice, providing a sweet and refreshing experience through hazelnut praline and vanilla ice cream.
A Creative Bar Concept
Hugo Feijão is the new Head bartender, who is launching a renewed bar concept that includes gastronomic techniques and kitchen elements in cocktails.
Example cocktails are Wasabi Papi, a cocktail inspired by wasabi paste; Le Citron, finished with a burnt sugar topping like a crème brûlée, and Drink Me 2.0, which stands out for a more herbal palate, with coriander.
For those who want to skip dessert and go directly from the table to the bar, there is the new Coco Loco, a variation of an Expresso Martini, with white tequila, coffee and crispy salted caramel with fleur de sel. The Maracuya is another new highlight, based on the SEEN Passion dessert and one of the most requested drinks, the Aperol Spritz.
