They are the ones who, in the privacy of the fitting rooms, take measurements and, in the studio, choose the fabric, extend it and superimpose patterns. With chalk, they make markings and with scissors, they cut. And so, under the baton of the Master Tailor, unique pieces are born that aim for perfection, with the signature of the Rosa & Teixeira tailoring service.

Whether in a classic and formal style or more casual and trendier, quality, exclusivity and attention to detail are present in every gesture made of experience. A perfection that demands a deep research and selection of the best fabrics and raw materials, and the wisdom for their proper application. “Each piece that leaves the studio is a unique piece of work and must fit the client “like a glove”, correct in measurements and seams,” explains the Master Tailor Eugénio Gomes.

In tailoring, time is a friend of perfection, and at each fitting the client lives a sensorial and intellectual experience, in which he has the opportunity to discover that nothing in this art is by chance: the choice of fabric, stitching and finishes, the purity of lines… A complexity that becomes simple when the piece is finished and becomes a second skin – unique as the one who wears it.

Available exclusively at the Rosa & Teixeira atelier in Lisbon, this service is located on the lower floor of the store, where the atelier of the Master Tailor Eugénio Gomes opens to the public eye. With an intimate environment and private corners, this floor also offers two fitting rooms with integrated antechamber, for an even more exclusive experience.

Customized Prêt-à-porter

In addition to the made-to-measure confection service, Rosa & Teixeira offers a ready-to-wear customization service, according to each case and profile, so that purchased pieces fit the silhouette perfectly. Adjustments to the pieces benefit from the same professionalism employed in the confection service, seeing as the team of the prêt-a-porter atelier are trained in tailoring by measure.
