Jazz in Avenida presents 10 concerts in Avenida da Liberdade

Jazz will return to Avenida da Liberdade on December 13 with Jazz in Avenida.
The event promises to be another unforgettable day on the Avenue, with 10 very special concerts completely open to the public. The Hot Clube de Portugal (HCP), responsible for the program, guarantees the excellence of this event.
After the success of the first edition, Avenida Association is once again promoting Jazz in Avenida, this time with the support of TMA – Law Firm.
Throughout the day, those who come to Avenida will enjoy concerts in unique spaces, such as balconies, terraces, lobbies and courtyards of commercial, cultural and office spaces, and even an unexpected garage.
The HCP, one of the oldest jazz clubs in Europe, is responsible for curating all the Jazz in Avenida concerts, which thus carry the quality for which it is renowned. This event brings a dynamic that transforms the Avenue into its stage, with open-air concerts on the street, fostering a sense of closeness with both Portuguese locals and foreign visitors seeking a relaxed day on our Avenue.
In the program created by Hot Clube de Portugal, the 10 concerts follow each other with the necessary time break to walk calmly to the next concert, in another venue.

According to the spokesperson for Avenida Association, Sandra Campos, “culture as a unifying link between our various members, and music as an aggregator of audiences around Lisbon’s most iconic avenue, will continue to be one of the focus of our work. Thanks to the excellent response to the 2023 edition, with the surprise of listening to jazz in unusual places and with audiences growing in numbers with each concert, we were left with full hearts and with the desire to repeat the event. The Association would like to express its special thanks to TMA – Law Firm, member of the association, who are sponsoring the cultural event this year.”
Jazz in Avenida has the support of Lisbon City Council and Turismo de Lisboa, and is sponsored by TMA.
TMA, with offices at 9 Avenida da Liberdade, is a law firm with a multidisciplinary team specialized in various areas of law that offers its clients, both Portuguese and foreigner, quality and rigorous legal support, focusing on a close relationship, availability and responsibility. This year, the firm is delighted to support the initiative to bring jazz to the avenue, thus strengthening the connection it has had with the arts since it was founded in 2006.
