Heritage Hotels Lisbon with Two Properties Named Finalists in Different Categories of the Historic Hotels Worldwide Annual Awards of Excellence 2025

Heritage Hotels Lisbon has two of its properties distinguished as finalists in different categories of the Historic Hotels Worldwide Annual Awards of Excellence 2025, further reinforcing the brand’s international recognition for its dedication to preserving Lisbon’s historical heritage and delivering excellence in hospitality.

Solar do Castelo has been nominated as a finalist in the category Best Historic Hotels Worldwide Hotel in Europe. Located within the walls of the Castle of São Jorge, this property occupies the former kitchens of the Royal Palace and offers an intimate and authentic atmosphere in the heart of Lisbon.

Meanwhile, the Heritage Avenida Liberdade Hotel is a finalist in the category Historic Hotels Worldwide Best City Center Historic Hotel. Situated on Lisbon’s most emblematic avenue, Avenida da Liberdade, this hotel occupies an 18th-century building carefully preserved and adapted to contemporary comfort.

The winners will be announced on October 30, 2025, during the official ceremony at the Fairmont Olympic Hotel in Seattle, United States.
