Heritage Avenida Liberdade Hotel is located on the corner of exclusive Avenida da Liberdade and Largo da Anunciada, offering a calm and intimate atmosphere, next to the Lavra funicular. The Heritage Avenida Liberdade Hotel is a fully restored, late eighteenth century building, the decoration of which was entrusted to Miguel Câncio Martins.

The restoration maintains all the elements of the eighteenth century façade. The Pombaline azulejo tiles inside the building have been restored, together with the wooden shutters with their original iron-fittings and several items such as the furniture of the ancient herbalist.

Câncio Martins is internationally famous for his interventions in spaces such as Thiou and the Buddha Bar in Paris, Strictly Hush in London and Man Ray in New York and his distinctive trademark is evident in the ample and cosmopolitan space of the hotel lobby.
