JUNTA DE FREGUESIA DE SANTO ANTÓNIO

The parish of Santo António aggregates three previous parishes from Lisbon: S. José, Coração de Jesus and São Mamede – a result from the administrative reorganization of the city, in September 2013.

This parish – named after the matchmaker saint of Lisbon – intends to preserve its history and create new memories in the capital. It works to involve the people and the companies in the community, preserving and cherishing emblematic locations at the same time. One of its main goals is to improve the quality of life of its population and services, always keeping in mind the environment.

Despite the concern with traditional aspects, the parish of Santo António cares about innovation. For that reason, it works to attract youth and entrepreneurs to the area that congregates past, present and future in the heart of Lisbon.
