Discovering the world of Avenida da Liberdade takes on a new dimension with Avenida Open Week, an exclusive celebration that reveals unexpected perspectives of Lisbon’s most iconic avenue through a variety of freely accessible happenings that captivate the general public every year.

The fourth edition returns from May 23 to 29, a special week during which 21 outstanding venues open their doors for guided tours, exhibitions, workshops, open classes, and styling and beauty experiences. A unique opportunity to go behind the scenes, exploring ateliers, uncovering stories, and immersing yourself in the authenticity of Lisbon’s Luxury District, brought to life by the Avenida Association.

More than just an event, Avenida Open Week is an invitation to experience the exclusivity that define Avenida da Liberdade. Blending culture, performance, fashion, art, beauty, gastronomy, history, fashion, and design, each experience has been designed to spark curiosity and elevate the joy of discovery. From guided behind-the-scenes tours of iconic performance venues to access to the heritage interiors of a palace, as well as exhibitions in premium spaces or in a singular house-museum, every moment promises to surprise.

The appetite for new gastronomic discoveries is ever-present and also takes center stage, with offerings such as a workshop dedicated to creating an iconic dish, cocktail masterclasses, and tasting moments that reveal the secrets and richness of Port wine.

Avenida da Liberdade awakens each person’s most hedonistic side, so well-being and personal image complete the experience, with initiatives ranging from relaxation and innovative approaches in the world of haircare to personalized styling consultations and open Pilates classes. Experiences designed for those who value detail and seek personalized attention.
